The BATAVIA AMERICAN LEGION POST 504 was chartered on August 1, 1920,  Ninety (90) years ago!!!!!

Since its inception, our Post has been dedicated to its founding principles of:

·         Service to Veterans

·         Care and Education of Children

·         Americanism

·         Strong National Defense

The American Legion and Batavia Post 504 sponsors educational and youth sports scholarships. We promote Americanism. We participate and financially contribute to worthwhile community programs and projects. We assist financially our needy veterans and their families and volunteer in programs that enrich the quality of life in the Batavia Community. REMEMBER

"It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us the freedom of the press.

It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech.

It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate.

It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag."

You have served your country; please continue to serve your Batavia Post 504.  Thank You
