2018 GFY - Gifts For Yanks

Donations were collected this year in front of the following Batavia stores: Wal_mart, Lumes Pancake House, Apple Villa, Jewel/Osco, Briana's Pancake House, Pal Joeys and 7/11 on Wison St.

All donations made go towards buying 2018 gifts for the VETS in the following Senior care facilities: Heritage Woods, The Holmstad and The Batavia Rehab Center.

The Batavia American Legion Post 504 would like to thank all the patrons who gave to the Gift for Yanks program this year. Without your donations we would not be able to visit the VETS before Christmas and hand out the gifts you helped purchase this year.

Nate Gustafson brought in some homemade Christmas cards from Batavia Cub Scout Pack 103 which were added into the bags for the Vet's to read.

On December 8th and 15th, 2018 the Batavia American Legion Post 504 Officers & Members distributed over 95 gifts to vets living at:

The Holmstad, Heritage Woods & the Batavia Rehab Center. Below are pictures taken handing out the gifts.
